BLOOM is a table whose central structural element is a worktop connector, typically used to create concealed joints between kitchen worktops.
Here, the connector holds eight aluminum tubes under tension around a central aluminum component. Arranged concentrically, the tubes form the base that supports the glass tabletop.
All connections are detachable, allowing the table to be disassembled into components made from single materials.

MOTUS is an electric kettle that uses a form analogy to make the process of boiling water visible. Bimetallic springs inside the lid expand in response to rising steam, gently lifting its circular surface. As the water cools, the surface settles back into the lid.
The funnel-shaped spout allows the kettle to be filled directly under the tap. All electrical components, including the heating element, are easily accessible and replaceable, extending the product’s service life and facilitating recycling.

TOPO is a project comprising a bottle opener, a candle holder and a handheld mirror, designed for production in a workshop for people with mental health conditions.
The aim was to develop products that could be made independently using the resources available on site, strengthening the makers’ sense of self-efficacy through a production process they could carry out from start to finish.
The design is based on the principle of layering, inspired by the topography of a landscape.

HATCH is a product series exploring the integration of industrially prefabricated parts into the sand casting process. The casting patterns were created using a 3D pen, manually imitating the principles of FDM 3D printing. This hybrid approach combines different technologies to create objects that bridge industrial production and the aesthetics of the handmade.

STAKE explores digital fabrication through traditional basketry techniques. 3D-printed elements connect two materials, each representing a different technology, creating forms that bridge industrial production and the aesthetics of the handmade.

EATERNITY transforms a slice of toast cast in pewter into a contemporary fossil. Something meant to be consumed becomes something to keep, highlighting everyday rituals and their power to evoke memories.
EATERNITY is a project by casting agency, a collective of industrial designers Natascha Burk, Friederike Wübbeler, and Lisa Wübbeler. United by a passion for casting, they explore experimental processes to give pewter and other materials unexpected forms.
